Hemp Mix Socks

Hemp Mix Socks

Mauna Kea produce socks on vintage machines using a hemp / cotton blend to ensure high moisture absorption and in a tubular shape with a thick yarn and loose knit to make them supremely comfortable.

Standard knitting machines use 170-180 stitches, whereas the older machines use 60 stitches - the looser knit allows a thicker yarn and the low gauge means the sock better takes the shape of the wearer and makes it ultimately more comfortable.
